Cobblestone Flea Market – Sat. July 20 (9am-3pm)

Get ready for the Cobblestone Museum Flea Market coming Sat. July 20, 9am–3pm. We anticipate it to be a bargain hunter’s paradise, because we expect a wide variety of merchandise on display – household goods, antiques, handmade items, and much more! Prices fit every budget and some sellers willingly negotiate prices to move their merchandise. There will also be a concession stand featuring Zweigle’s grilled hot dogs and sweet corn-on-the-cob.

Interested to sell? Gather up that “stuff” that has been sitting in your closet, basement or attic taking up space or gathering dust. Booth space is sold for just $20. Bring your own table, chairs and a pop-up tent canopy if you have one to provide your own personal shade. Partial shade in some locations.

Interested to donate? Consider gifting your unwanted items to the Museum to sell at our White Elephant booth to benefit the Cobblestone Society. We’ll accept antiques or miscellaneous merchandise that you’d expect to find at any Garage or Rummage Sale. Do you have books to donate? Our Used Books building is a self-service seasonal operation which accepts donated books of all genres. It generates added income for the Cobblestone Society. Paperbacks are 50 cents and hard cover books are $1. Books will be sold as part of the Flea Market, and some items will be sold at special rates that day.

Here’s what prior sellers are saying about their experience:

Amanda Fox of Oakfield: “The Flea Market was a fun experience for my mom and I to sell our treasures in a beautiful, historic location. We got to check out the amazing crafts and items for sale from the other vendors and even stopped in the on-site book shop and souvenir shop! Beautiful weather, collectible treasures, and history equal a great way to enjoy a Saturday!”

Mary Pilat of Kendall shared, “The Cobblestone Craft Fair & Flea Market was a great way to spend a sunny summer day. It was an opportunity to meet people and reflect on craft fairs and markets from around the world…It was a rewarding afternoon both for supporting the Cobblestone Museum and for the opportunity for personal growth.”

Brenda Radzinski of Albion: “Last year I shared a booth with my sister-in-law. We had a mix of “garage sale” items and crafts. We both made a profit. There was a good turnout for the market returning after a long hiatus. I expect this year to be even busier.”
