- "The Midbury House is near Lyons also." states Dorothy Wells Pease on page 28 of her paper "The Cobblestone Houses of Upstate New York" 1941. This short statement and a Pease Collection photograph labeled "Midbury, Lyons Township, Wayne Cty." are the only known evidence of this structure.
