Oneida County 1977 Highway Map
Historical Marker
- "The Cobblestone Houses of Upstate New York", compiled by Dorothy Wells Pease. Research done in collaboration with Hazed B. Jeffery, supplemented with material furnished by Carl F. Schmidt, 1941. Reference the twelfth paragraph on page 41.
Editor's Note: To-date the location and status of a white-painted [cobblestone] restaurant in Sangerfield is unknown. Such a structure was not found with a Google Maps street level view search in and around the hamlet of Sangerfield in the Town of Sangerfield; therefore, the structure may no longer be existing.
NOTE
Oneida County as a whole was referenced in the Roudabush Survey with no mention of the Towns. Locating the structures on the digital county map is difficult; therefore, following the current documentation format, individual town references and maps are provided along with the county map for clarity.Do not confuse the Bri abbreviation for the Town of Bridgewater for the Bri abbreviation for the Town of Brighton in Monroe County.
