This year’s Open House will be held on Saturday, October 17, 10am – 3pm. Our buildings will be accessible free of charge (Free-will donation gladly accepted), and visiting artisans will be on campus to demonstrate their skills and craftsmanship. Docents will be inside our buildings to share history with visitors. Our trades buildings (Blacksmith, Print & Harness Shops) will each have at least one artisan on duty with demonstrations throughout the day, and other artisans will be located throughout the campus. See chair caning, weaving, lace-making, and more! Try making butter with former trustee Georgia Thomas at Farmers Hall (shown above).
The Food Tent will offer Italian Sausage Hoagie plates with potato chips and a pickle spear between 11am – 2pm. The presale price is $10. Meals will be $12 that day. Order your Italian Sausage tickets now and save. Your tickets will be held at the food tent until you arrive.
