Come to the Cobblestone Museum Fall Open House on Saturday, October 5 from 10 am – 3 pm. All buildings and exhibit areas will be open. Special activities include butter making and old-fashioned games. Live demonstrations in our trade buildings by blacksmiths, printing press craftsmen, and a saddle maker. See a Hit ‘n Miss engine operating, a Model T displayed and a collection of organ grinders. Visiting artisans: Genesee Country Lace Guild, Rug Hookers of the Finger Lakes, chair caner, quilter, spinner and weaver.
Food Tent (11 am – 2 pm) – Beef-on-Weck meals $12 presale/$14 day of event until sold. Includes Red Osier beef, choice of roll, pickle spear, potato salad and baked beans. Local bakery slices of pies sold separately.
E-YAH-PAH-HAH Wind Quintet concert from 3 -4 pm at the Cobblestone Church. Classical music performed, written by Native American composers. A musical piece from Wicked will be included in their repertoire, and a selection by African American composer Victoria Coleman. Free-will offering concert.
