Brenda Trembley, organist and choir director at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Brockport, sits at the console of the church’s new pipe organ installed in August 2019.
Though it may not feel like it, Spring will be here before know it and that means it’s time for the Progressive Organ Concert. The previous two years had our audiences exploring the sights, sounds, and flavors of Albion and Medina. This year, we will journey eastward to hear the newly installed organ at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Brockport, followed by a short jaunt back to Orleans County where you will be treated to the fascinating story of the Steer & Webb “tracker organ” at Holley Presbyterian Church. The concert will conclude with a delicious buffet at Lure’s Restaurant in Kendall where you are welcome to linger at the waterfront for after dinner cocktails as the sun sets into the western horizon. Space is limited so reserve your tickets now for the 2020 Progressive Organ Concert! And stay tuned for additional details, including the possibility of bus transportation.
Tickets for the May 16 concert and dinner are pre-sale only and include appetizers & wine, concerts at 2 venues, and a buffet dinner with dessert, all for only $30 per person for Cobblestone Society Members and $35 per person for all others.
